Our family went on an adventure to Puerto Rico this February. The kids and I planned the trip as a surprise for Michael, my husband. He knew were going somewhere, but (mostly) didn’t know where. Beautiful! More photos are here.

Women’s Retreat

I’ve been working on documenting the nuns at the Visitation Monastery of Minneapolis, a project I hope to continue for some time. I’ve known them for something like 18 years, so it’s been fun to photograph them and their lives. They live in two houses in North Minneapolis, praying for their neighbors and the world, offering hospitality and love to the people who come to their door. These photos are from the arts and crafts portion of their annual women’s retreat for neighbors and friends, held at Ascension Church.

Hey folks that follow my blog. Hello! Thanks for being out there following.
I completed another year of photo-a-day at the end of December. I’m not feeling pulled to continue making a posting a new photo every day. I’m feeling drawn to put my energy into new photo projects. We’ll see what unfolds! I will still be posting here, but probably not every day. I’d love your thoughts or ideas.
