The kids and I went to watch the City of Lakes Loppet today. Inspiring to watch the skiiers. We all got a little tired and crabby on the journey. Well, maybe not Isaiah.

Our good friend Karen and family came to town, and we spent the evening swimming at their hotel pool and hanging out. We ordered out Turkish food, and the kids had great fun getting creative their styrofoam cups and plates after the food was consumed.

This rabbit was running in tight circles in the middle of the street. Obviously not doing well. Our friend managed to catch it and put it in a box. Later, I took it to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Roseville. Poor freaked out rabbit.

 

goose egg

Isaiah fell on the ice outside and got a goose egg on his forehead. He’s ok. He got tired of holding the ice to his head, so we rigged up this system. (Yesterday’s photo.)
