I’m going to be baking pie soon.  The kids made some nice pie.  Cherry pie anyone?

I shot this with a lens I used in my all-manual film camera.  Fun to discover I can use that lens on my digital camera.  It requires a lot more trial and error, as it doesn’t have auto focus or a light meter.

Sunday morning, hanging around the house.

I photographed some of my friend Ann Kreider’s amazing handmade mittens and other fun stuff today for her new website.  The name of her business is Threadstar.  Below are tasty looking treats–but to wear not eat.  They’re pins.

A few photos from Chrisy and Harry’s wedding.  Held on an island on Bay Lake, a couple hours north.  Wonderful weekend.

I went to the Obama health care rally today at Target Center.  Fired up and ready to go.

Labor Day weekend at the lake.

Our friend who lives upstairs brought this lemon juicer down, wondering if I wanted to photograph it. A moth laid its eggs on the top and all down this juicer, then died. A last great act of living.
