This girl has always been ecstatic about swimming. Both kids spent a good amount of time in the fairly chilly lake. Much teeth chattering.

I’ve been having some fun playing with my flash in the garden when it’s just getting dusk–when I haven’t yet made a photo for the day. Those luscious peonies.

We broke the a 125+ year-old record today for temperature–something like 95 out there. Sprinkler weather! Here’s a freshly sprinkled boy. More photos here.

Went on a family excursion to the Mississippi today. The kids were collecting caterpillars, which were everywhere. Isaiah said, I wish we had a container to put them in. Lying on the beach was this big blue container–a temporary caterpillar home. They collected 44.
