My husband and I were biking to meetings downtown and came across a parade to kick off Minnesota American Indian month.
One funny story about the parade. There weren’t many people watching along the part of the route we were on. One of the people in the parade said to us, “could you tell someone up front that they’re going too fast?” I’m not the kind of gal who would be inclined to stop a parade. I said yes rather hesitantly. But then when we passed the people in front, including this guy who was heading up the parade, I told them the people in back said they were going too fast. So they stopped to wait. I stopped a parade.

Got to hang out with our tiny new upstairs neighbor a little today. Lucky me. She was sleeping with her hand sticking up for awhile.

My kids were inspired to make a couch fort after seeing one of their previous fort creations in this architecture blog: http://blog.buildllc.com/2010/04/couch-cushion-architecture-a-critical-analysis/ Pretty amusing. A friend of mine randomly found the blog.

I was over at Bolder Options today for a meeting. Always fun to see Darrell Thompson. I used to work at Bolder Options (youth mentoring program). They do good work.

Grace’s groovy belt. The rest of the family is always jealous when she wears it.
