Hi friends.  As you may have noticed, I haven’t shared any photos for awhile.  I guess you could say it was a little hiatus.  But I’m back!

My new plan is to put up photos once a week–with a collection of photos on a subject. I’m thinking of a series on Seward (my neighborhood) businesses, nonprofits, and people. So we’ll see how that goes. Let me know if you have any good ideas for that project.

So for week one : Sisters Camelot, a nonprofit that distributes free organic produce that’s overstocked or getting close to it’s expiration date. They have an old Metro Transit bus, and they drive around to various spots in the city, stop, and hand out groceries.  I went along on the bus a couple of days ago.  It was a rather chilly day to spend 5 hours on an unheated bus. But it was pretty inspiring to see people’s overflowing boxes and bags of free fruit and veggies.
