neighborhood

I photographed some of my friend Ann Kreider’s amazing handmade mittens and other fun stuff today for her new website.  The name of her business is Threadstar.  Below are tasty looking treats–but to wear not eat.  They’re pins.

The Seward neighborhood business association is sponsoring a program to have local artists paint sandwich boards for local businesses.  I finished painting mine this week.  Kinda fun.  I wonder which business will end up with it.

Isaiah’s birthday party.  Harry entertained, and here he’s juggling while his assistant takes a bite of an apple every time it comes around in the juggling.

Waiting for the show to start.

Our neighbor hosted an Open Eye Theater puppet show in her backyard.  It was good fun!

April 17.  Grace, the middle, and two of her buddies playing “dance class.”

April 15.

April 6.  Boiling sap to make maple syrup–from the maplel trees in our yard!  It’s yummy.

April 5.  Collecting sap from our maple tree–to make maple syrup!

April 3.  A new sign along the Greenway by Brackett Park.  There are two pairs of dancing shoes that are part of the benches next to this sign.  Intriguing.
